This encounter God orchestrated encounter illustrates the Spirit’s active role in crossing traditional boundaries to extend the gospel. The Spirit still invites us to be open to His guidance, ready to follow where he leads and to engage with the surprising individuals He places in our path.

True conversion, God’s gracious intervention.

5/12 – Acts 1:1-11 | Ascension Day
Ascension Sunday brings a timely message for our often unpredictable lives. It reminds us that Christ’s ascension is not about His absence but His authority and ongoing presence with us. This reality provides a solid ground of hope and stability amid the whirlwind of daily challenges. It’s a reassurance that we’re not navigating these waters alone; Christ, from His place of power, is actively empowering His Church.

5/19 – Acts 2:1-21 | Pentecost
The disciples gathered together waiting and praying, when a powerful event suddenly occurred. The promised Holy Spirit descended upon them like a rushing wind, filling the room. They began speaking in different languages as the Spirit enabled them. Then Peter, one of the disciples, stood up and spoke to the crowd. Many people believed, were baptized, and became part of the early Christian community. The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, is still active in our lives and ministries today. Just as the disciples were emboldened to share the message of Jesus, we are called to proclaim the gospel in our lives, bringing the hope and reconciliation of the Gospel to a broken and hurting world.
